Claytons Certified Organic Beef

Claytons Organic Beef is a family owned and operated Organic Beef cattle production business established by Clayton and Jackie Sargood to promote their own Certified Organic branded beef. The Sargoods were pioneers of the Australian organic beef industry, obtaining full organic certification of ‘Manresa’ the family’s 40,000 acre property at Augathella, Queensland, back in 1995.
In 2004 the family established an Organically Certified irrigation property just 40kms from Toowoomba on the Darling Downs which became their “home block”. All cattle are finished and drafted weekly for processing. Livestock and Meat production are bred and processed to meet the highest eating quality standards, underpinned by Meat Standards Australia (MSA).
Claytons Organic Beef animal welfare and production standards are underpinned and independently audited by Australian Certified Organic (ACO) which meets internationally recognised standards including the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
Claytons Organic Beef is already recognised in many independently owned supermarkets from Noosa, Australia to New York City (where Claytons Australian Organic Beef has been a preferred brand by US consumers for over 10 years).
Today, the family has a dedicated team from livestock production, fodder farming, sales, marketing and administration. Locally, Claytons Organic Beef is value added into retail ready products and distributed at retail in selected stores in Queensland (including Toowoomba, the Gold Coast and Hamilton Island) and more recently online in Sydney.
